Teenage Cancer Trust

On Saturday 24th March three young people from St Cuthbert’s volunteered to help raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.  Megan Roberts, Sarah Park and Amy Park, along with three youngsters from Kilwinning willingly gave up their Saturday afternoon to be involved in a national fundraising day at Aldi in Saltcoats.

Their efforts exceeded all expectations and jointly they helped to raise £1710; the largest amount collected at any Aldi store in the UK that weekend.  The girls’ conduct and enthusiasm were highly praised by the ALDI management and TCT organisers. They were a credit to themselves, their families and the church. TCT is a fantastic organisation which raises much needed funds to provide specialist nursing care and support for young people diagnosed with cancer.
