Kilimanjaro Climb

Congratulations to Raymond, Alison and Matthew Montgomerie who on Thursday 14th June, reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Donations to Raymond’s charities, refurbishing boxing gym for youngsters in Springvale Street, Saltcoats and the Kris Boyd Foundation for mental health, may be made via his JustGiving page @ srmontgomerie or by envelope (marked Montgomerie) in the offerings plate on any Sunday.

Induction of Rev Sarah Nicol

At a meeting of Ardrossan Presbytery on Tuesday 12th June the Call from the congregation of Saltcoats St Cuthbert’s to Rev. Sarah Nicol of Aberdeen Midstocket Church was sustained. This was greeted with joy by those present from the church. Arrangements will now be made for the Service of Induction on Wednesday 1st August. All members and friends of the church will be made most welcome on the evening. The service will begin at 7 pm within St Cuthbert’s.

A day out!

Date for your diary: Sutherlands’ Tours, organised by Graeme and Liz, will be on the road on Saturday 15th September 2018. This is always a great day out for St. Cuthbert’s congregation and friends.

The destination this year is Dunfermline Abbey and Palace in the morning with other options available in the afternoon such as the Carnegie Library and Gallery and St Margaret’s Relic. High Tea will be taken on the homeward journey.

The cost of this trip will not exceed £40 pp. A deposit of £10 pp to be paid to Graeme or Liz Sutherland over the next four weeks will allow numbers to be ascertained.
