The letter challenge continued this week with the children having done their homework and coming with a number of suggestions of Biblical words starting with either ‘B’ or ‘C’. Next week will be ‘D’ and ‘E’.
As we are just about to come into the period of Lent, we were each encouraged to follow this year’s Christian Aid programme ‘Count Your Blessings’ which is focussing on Climate Change. There are daily reflections and challenges which allow each one of us to put our faith into action. You can download your personal copy HERE.
We also sang the chorus of ‘Count your blessings’, which some knew and others didn’t. As it will be repeated through Lent, and should you wish to practice, here is a link to one rendition of the whole song on YouTube (there are many available). It is worth listening to the words of the verses too! LINK TO YOUTUBE
