Today was a full day with the ordination of three elders and their admission along with a further two existing elders, who have transferred to Saltcoats St Cuthbert’s from elsewhere, to the Kirk Session. They were duly welcomed.

We celebrated Holy Communion, always a significant point in the church calendar, and pondered on the meaning of eldership and discipleship.

• A reminder to all elders that there is a Session Meeting on Tuesday 4 June in the small hall starting at 7pm.
• Graeme was able to advise that £1480.00 had been raised through the church for Christian Aid week. This includes door-to-door collections and offerings received in the church.

• Volunteers are being sought to lead or help to lead children’s activities during the summer to allow children to leave the service after the second hymn. Please note that volunteers will need to have PVG clearance so please speak to Maureen.
