This morning we started thinking about our dreams for our church in the years ahead. The minister, Rev Sarah Nicol, explained that we were preparing for a Local Church Review (LCR) which gives us a chance to tell our story, where we have come from and where we are, and also to think forward. The LCR lays down our five-year plan and is being helped by three of the thinking groups which were formed a couple of months ago (please see entry for 30 June 2019). Every member of the congregation is invited to share their vision.

Sarah also took a photograph of the congregation to use as a baseline. We would love to see more people coming to meet Jesus Christ and help to fill our church. Next year, and the years ahead, more photographs will be taken to see what changes there have been and also think about what more we can do.
