From September until May the Afternoon Club meets every Monday from 2pm to 4pm. Members can choose to play bridge, board games or participate in craft activities while enjoying some social chit chat.

 

The ladies at the craft table enjoy making items to be sold at fundraising events such as Christmas Fair with all the proceeds going to church funds.

The members also prepare postage stamps to be sent on to the “World Mission Stamp Appeal”. A very worthwhile cause.

In the “Bridge Room” all levels of ability are catered for. Some of the more experienced members guide and encourage those who need questions answered. Even after many years of playing most bridge players say they are still learning. A very relaxed and informal atmosphere prevails and we are allowed to have a laugh and not take things too seriously!! Come along and try it out.

Participants are welcomed from the wider community and need not necessarily be church members.
