The aim of the Sunday School is to introduce children to the teachings of the Bible through accounts in the Old Testament and of Jesus and his disciples and how these influence our lives; to show by example how to live our lives in a Christian way. We do this through stories, games, singing and art work.
Each year we ask the congregation to help us collect 1p and 2p for our chosen charity for that year. Through the generosity of the congregation, we have made substantial contributions in the past to Sight Savers, Release International, Sense, Erskine Hospital, SSPCA, Hansel Village to name but a few.
The Sunday School is for boys and girls aged 3 years to 11 years. We are in Church for the first part of the service before returning to the hall for our own activities. The children attend family services at Easter and Christmas. We also have outings at Christmas and in June at the end of the session.
